Lives and works between Sofia, Bulgaria

Aaron has been living in Bulgaria ever since he was 12 years old. His work spans painting, installation, sculpture, and photography, often incorporating found images and objects. Roth's installations oscillate between ready-made and assemblage, while his paintings engage with the language of advertising in a mimetic and ironic manner. Drawing inspiration from Bulgarian pop-folk music (chalga), conspiracy theories, and luxury goods advertisements, his work explores themes of desire, nationalism, and capitalism, critically examining their impact on contemporary visual culture.
